Richard Cartner works with men that struggle with sexual addictive behaviors and facilitates several of the men's counseling groups for sexual addiction recovery at Front Range Counseling Center. Richard has been a Christian most of his life and helps his clients connect with the True Living God in their recovery.
Richard is a counselor that includes his own past struggles and his own recovery experiences. He helps guide men into healthier thinking and choices that result in lives lived in integrity rather than shame and secrecy. Richard beleives that the issue with sex addiction is not simply the desire for sex but rather a reflection of past wounds, trauma, and pain. Therefore, Richard focuses his counseling on addressing the underlying pain and learning to live life without the drug of sex.
Richard has a bachelors degree from Kansas State University and is in the process of completing his masters degree in counseling from Liberty University.
