
Trisha Swinton believes that God loves each client and believes that God has given each client a unique identity, no matter the struggles or the mistakes. Out of pain and loss, God sees who each person can grow to be. Trisha believes that each client can grow to be “oaks of righteousness” created for God's splendor (Isaiah 61:3). Trisha believe our God invites you to rest in Him and He loves you no matter the issue you face. God invites you to bring your burden to Him and to redefine yourself in a healthy way.
Trisha works with adults, adolescents, children and families. She focuses her counseling on those that have suffered greatly in areas of depression, abuse, anxiety, grief, and past or present abuse. She counsels individuals recovering from divorce, death of loved ones and sexual abuse.
Trisha received her Masters degree in community counseling with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy from the University of Northern Colorado . She is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Colorado. She also received her Masters in Special Education from Adelphi University in New York, and is a licensed special education teacher.
